Course information

This qualification is designed for individuals working in various community settings and clients’ homes, where they empower people with disabilities to enhance their independence, self-reliance, community engagement, and overall well-being. These workers prioritize a person-centred approach, operate within the framework of individualized plans, and often work independently without direct supervision. Some may also take on the responsibility of supervising or coordinating a small team.

Eligibility Criteria
Course Prerequisites

Completion of: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

OR

Completion of: CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

OR

Completion of: CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS  the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
