Course information

This qualification pertains to support workers specializing in aged services, whether in residential, home, or community settings. These workers are accountable for their own tasks while adhering to organizational guidelines. They ensure high-quality service delivery by creating, facilitating, and evaluating individualized service plans and delivery.

In some instances, workers may need to display leadership qualities and possess limited responsibilities for overseeing the performance and output of others, within established boundaries.

To attain this qualification, candidates must have completed a minimum of 120 hours of practical work, as specified in the Assessment Requirements of the competency units.

Course Prerequisites

The entry requirements for this course are achieving competency in the LLN.

In order to commence placements students will have to obtain 120 point police check.
